The artist’s attempt to exist and shape himself. A continuous struggle.

Alejandro Maestre Gasteazi covered his friend, Julián Cánovas with mud from head to toe and photographed him at various stages. Later, through the use of Photoshop, he started revealing different parts of his subject’s body, making him appear like a floating sculpture.
