The space between us

Watch the horizon, catch a slice and frieze it in time, print all photos onto plexiglass acrylic and display each slice separately. That is what Japan-born artist Nobuhiro Nakanishi has done in his series Layered Drawings, creating a magnificent effect of the world’s ‘vagueness’.

“By capturing spatial change and the infinite flow of time, I strive to produce art that creates movement between the artwork itself and the viewer’s experience of the artwork”, Nobuhiro Nakanishi says.
